"Atomic" stereo in the Emerson House

I found this stereo on eBay. I'll note the brand name shortly.

Amazing... actual plastic "atomic" dollhouse furniture! (It almost makes it cooler that it's plastic.)

  1. I really like this piece! What a cool find. I need to start surfing ebay more but it eats my wallet alive--Ha!

  2. Lots of junk, but every once in awhile you find a treasure! But, yeah, the wallet IS an issue...

  3. I think you'll find this is a Barton or Triang piece, in 3/4" scale, which is why it's slightly smaller than the lovely Paul McAlister furniture you've won.

I'm very envious but very happy it's gone to someone in the mini "family" who will appreciate it...

  4. Awww, thank you so much Shopping Sherpa!

Yes, I was just saying to someone that it seems to be 1:16 scale. And, you're right--it IS Triang! As soon as I read your comment, I remembered...

  7. Just looked at the site... what a wonderful resource for me. It looks like most of it is Traing like my stereo... which is also on the site... and I now see that it's called the "Phillip's Radiogram"!

Thanks Shopping Sherpa... this is an important piece of the puzzle for me! :)
